About Us
What is a hybrid school?
A hybrid school is a program that comes alongside a homeschooling student to provide education in subjects that may or may not be taught at home.
Here at Basecamp, we have certified teachers and highly qualified persons that teach your student’s full year of science and social studies. Two core subjects of your plates, parents!
Where and when will the school meet?
Our program will meet two days a week 9-3pm. 3-5th graders will meet Monday/Wednesday and 6-9th graders on Tuesday/Thursday.
K-2nd grade will meet Monday/Wednesday 9-2pm. Enrichment class is on Fridays from 9-12:30pm and an afternoon option from 12:30-3:30pm. They may attend 1, 2, or all 3 days.
We meet in a modern day schoolhouse nestled on two acres in Mustang, OK.

Whether you’re looking for more community learning for your student, to lighten your teaching load, shake things up, or reinforce what’s being taught…we think this is it!
Basecamp offers K-9th grade social studies, science, passion projects, enrichment classes, and community involvement for the entire school year. Our class size is limited to 16 students (10 students for K-2) so that we can provide individualized instruction and guidance to each student. Our highly qualified certified teachers teach in a project based style. Students will be learning in a group setting and will be encouraged to explore their interests beyond the content provided. Students will be assisted to critically think, collaborate, research, and present information learned to their peers. Our curriculum is influenced by nature and exploring our world will be a top priority. Weather permitting, we will use our outdoor classroom as much as possible.

Pre K-Kinder at Wheeler location Mon-Thur 8:45-2pm
K-2nd grade Mon/Wed 9-2pm. (Begins fall of 2024) Enrichment Fridays 9am-12:30pm or afternoon class is 12:30-3:30pm
3rd-5th grade Monday/Wednesday 9am-3pm
6th-9th grade Tuesday/Thursday 9am-3pm
Drop off begins at 8:45am
Pick up no later than 3:15pm
Music Class
Students will explore and experience the elements of music and develop their musicianship through singing, playing, dancing, reading, listening, and creating!! Taught by certified music teacher Moriah Holmes!
K-2nd grade Mondays 2-3pm
K-2nd grade Fridays 12:30-1:30pm
3-5th grade Mondays 3:00-4:00pm

Art Class by Heather Isaac
6-8th grade Tuesdays 2:50-3:50PM
3-5th grade Wednesday 2:50-3:50
We will cover the princples and elements of art, through the use of unit studies. Each unit study will allow students to explore different art media, art history and famous artists. Students will also have the opportunity to work in groups collaboratively. Our end of year project will be a self-directed art project chosen by the stuent from the various topics we’ve studied throughout the year. Sign up HERE
